I, dancing in my own bitter disgrace,
Washed and hung out and my mind unaligned,
And with my memory I did erase.

Unable to maintain a fitful pace,
Body and soul so utterly resigned,
I, dancing in my own disgrace.

In the night I did choke as though in Thrace,
Painting pictures with my stomach lined,
And with my memory I did erase.

To the heavens without a god face,
With intoxicating webs to unwind,
I, dancing in my own bitter disgrace.

Beneath delicate bones my heart does race,
Asking my bottle of self-truths to find,
And with my memory I did erase.

I die with the night, as dark does embrace,
My songs out of tune as my mind declined,
I, dancing in my own bitter disgrace,
And with my memory I did erase

  1. In that memory that you erase
pieces of you that can’t be replaced
better to face what I can see
    You are beautiful
    You are worthy

Your poem brought back some of my memories and made me cry. You do not go alone in this world. There will always be someone who understands. ?
